The City of Townsend Parks and Recreation Board is soliciting responses from qualified consultants for a project at the Special People’s Park located along the 7100 block of E. Lamar Alexander Pkwy. (US Hwy 321). The project involves the permitting, redesign, and construction of an existing riverfront park, parking, and picnic area. The city plans to begin construction as soon as practicable.
