Citations: If you have received a citation from the City of Townsend you have two options:<\/p>

1)\u00a0 You can choose to pay the citation on or before your court date. (Contact the City Recorder at 865-448-6886 to determine the amount due). Payments should be made payable to the City of Townsend and mailed to P.O. Box 307, Townsend, TN. 37882. Acceptable forms of payment are personal check, money order, or cashier\u2019s check. Cash is also accepted when paying in person. Credit card payments can be made in person, over the phone, or online however, there is a 7% processing fee when using this form of payment.<\/p>

2)\u00a0 You can choose to come to court on the date and time listed at the bottom of your citation.<\/p>

Directions to Court: In Townsend, turn onto Chestnut Hill Road, which is directly across Highway 321 from Brown Brothers Store (formerly Truist Bank). Stay Right at the fork, you are now on Tiger Drive. Take the first driveway on the right and that will lead you to City Hall.\u00a0 Check in at the Court Clerk when you arrive.<\/p>
